Rachelle is a very talented and visionary photographer, her eyes capture intricacies in detail the average photography often overlooks, this images is no exception! A former Nature Photography Workshop student and friend of mine, I have seen Rachelle images delivers an arresting, colourful examples of the beauty of life and all its eccentricities. This deservedly winning image, captures the symbiotic relationship between too insect species, Ant and Stingless Bee, each dependent on each other- in part, for their survival, the ant offers protection from predators in exchange for honey and wax! Brilliant capture in, composition, lighting, contrast, clarity and subject matter!
