IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MEMBERS
The Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving developments as it relates to the COVID19 Virus in Trinidad and Tobago. The health and well-being of our members and visitors to the ASTT is of utmost importance to us.
They are many changes being implemented in Trinidad and Tobago at the request of Public Officials. In an abundance of caution, the Art Society will be making the following changes with effect from Tuesday 17thMarch through Monday 23rd March at which point we will reevaluate the situation.
(1) GALLERY CLOSURE: The ASTT will be closed for the period Tuesday 17th March – Monday 23rd March. During this time, you can communicate with us via EMAIL at email@example.com. Any payments to the ASTT for membership renewals can continue at any FCB branch, nationwide.
(2) PHOTOVISION2020: The deadline for registration for PhotoVision 2020 is extended until the end of the month, 31st March. The are no plans to postpone the exhibition scheduled for May, at this time.
(3) ART FUH SO 2.0 (Consignment): In our continued effort to support our member artists and continue to give you exposure, especially during these challenging economic times, we have decided to continue with the consignment gallery. The difference is, it will not be a physical exhibition at the gallery, but we will make an online gallery with your work and its details. This online gallery will be circulated via our Social Media and Web site. A separate call will be issued with updated information for this.
(4) Any payments to the ASTT for membership renewals, for registration for PhotoVision 2020 or for purchase of art pieces in Art Fuh So 2.0 can be made to FCB Bank account – # 96345 and a copy of the payment slip emailed to us – firstname.lastname@example.org.
All other activities at the Art Society such as Life Drawing and En Plein Air have been suspended temporarily. Be on the lookout for online activities that may cover these topics.
We thank you for understanding and hope that we can all get through these challenging times together.
Please feel free to contact us by email with any concerns you may have. Stay healthy and use this time to make amazing works of art.
