International Plein Air Painters is a blanket organization created for the sole purpose of advancing the execution and enjoyment of plein air painting without the restrictions and limitations of borders or regions.
Membership is restricted to plein air painters, those serious to learn about plein air painting and those who wish to be benefactors advancing the plein air movement.

Pointe- a- Pierre Wild Fowl Trust
A small group of ASTT member artists headed down to the tranquil Pointe-a-Pierre Wild Fowl Trust on Friday 11th September 2009. This was the first of
a 3 day paint out as part of the International Plein Air Organization's 7th Annual Worldwide Paint Out.
The morning light at the lily pond was perfect for the artists, who, "set-up shop" along the bank. The artists mostly worked on aspects of the lilies in a variety of sizes and mediums. There were also about 7 students of Greta Joachim from the South SDA School.
